WAYNE ROONEY, Marcus Rashford, and Chris Smalling won’t feature for Manchester United in their pre-season tour of China.
The Red Devils will jet off to the Far East for the International Champions Cup later this month with friendlies planned against Borussia Dortmund and rivals City.
But supporters in China won’t be able to see United’s English contingent take to the field after Jose Mourinho confirmed they would not play.
He suggested that he didn’t expect the trio to come at all as they could have not long been back from the European Championships, had England not suffered an early exit at the hands of Iceland.
